International SEO Agency for companies expanding abroad
You've built something that works locally. Now you want growth abroad. We help foreign companies rank on Google in the markets that matter to them. Based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Every country plays by its own rules.
Most companies enter a new market the same way. They translate their website, wait a few months, and wonder why nothing happens.
The problem is not the translation. It is that ranking in a foreign market requires a completely different approach than ranking at home. Local trust signals, market-specific search behaviors, site architecture decisions that can make or break your visibility. These are not problems a translation solves.
That is what we do. Based in Geneva, at the crossroads of French, German, and Italian-speaking markets, we have built our understanding of multilingual SEO in a city that lives it every day. We build international SEO strategies for companies that want real organic visibility in specific markets, not just a localized version of their homepage.
The problem we solve
Your translated site does not rank
Google does not trust it yet in that market. A translated website is still a foreign website in the eyes of local search engines. Trust is built differently in each country, and translation alone does not build it.
You do not know where to start
ccTLD or subfolder, which country to target first, how long before you see results. These are decisions that have a long-term impact on your international SEO and they need to be made right from the beginning.
Your local competitors have a head start
They have been building local authority for years. Closing that gap requires a market-specific strategy, not a scaled version of what worked at home.
Markets we cover in depth
France
France is one of the most SEO-mature markets in Europe. Local companies invest seriously in organic visibility, and the competition on commercial queries is real. Google holds over 90% of the market, the .fr domain is a strong local trust signal, and users expect content written in proper French, not translated from English. Foreign companies that arrive without a genuine French content strategy rarely break through the first page, regardless of how strong their product is. We know which signals Google.fr weighs most heavily and how to build them for a company that is not based there.
Germany
Germany has specific requirements that many foreign companies discover too late. The Impressum is a legal obligation that can result in fines of up to 50,000 euros if missing, and it functions as a direct trust signal for both users and search engines. The DSGVO, the German implementation of GDPR, is enforced more strictly than anywhere else in Europe and has a concrete impact on link building strategy. German publishers are structurally more reluctant to add outbound links to their sites due to legal liability concerns, which makes acquiring backlinks in Germany significantly harder than in any other European market. On top of that, AI Overviews only launched in Germany in March 2025, making it one of the last major markets to enter this new era of search, which creates a short window of opportunity for companies that move now.
Spain
Spain is one of the most underestimated entry points for international expansion, and not for the reasons most agencies cite. The real argument is reach. A company that builds genuine SEO authority on Google.es can, with a well-executed hreflang strategy, capture traffic across Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and more than fifteen other Spanish-speaking countries. No other European market offers that kind of geographic leverage from a single content investment. The regional language question, Catalan and Basque, is real but secondary. What matters most is building a castillan content strategy that is strong enough to anchor a pan-Hispanic presence.
Italy
Italy is one of the more accessible European markets for foreign companies from an SEO standpoint. Local competitors tend to underinvest in technical SEO and content depth, which creates real openings for companies willing to build a solid foundation. What most foreign companies miss is how strongly localized Italian search behavior is. Queries with city modifiers, such as "idraulico a Milano" or "avvocato a Roma", are proportionally more frequent in Italy than in most other European markets. For a foreign company, this means that a strategy built around local landing pages by city will consistently outperform a generic national approach. Google holds over 95% of the market and Italian users expect content written in Italian with the appropriate level of formality for their sector.
United States
The US is the most advanced search market in the world, and the strategic challenge for foreign companies has shifted significantly. AI Overviews have been live for all US users since May 2024, two years ahead of most European markets. A company entering the US today is not just building a backlink and content strategy. It is building for citability in AI-generated answers, which requires a different approach to content structure, topical authority, and data sourcing. On top of that, Reddit and Quora results now occupy significant SERP real estate across many commercial queries following Google's 2024 updates, which changes the competitive landscape in ways that a traditional SEO audit will not immediately surface.
Brazil
Brazil is a high-growth market with two specificities that most international SEO strategies completely ignore. The first is YouTube, which is the second largest search engine in Brazil with over three billion monthly queries. In sectors like finance, beauty, tech, and education, a Brazil SEO strategy that does not account for YouTube is structurally incomplete. The second is WhatsApp, which functions as the primary sales channel across most consumer sectors. Discovery happens on Google or Instagram, but conversion happens on WhatsApp. A foreign company that drives organic traffic without a WhatsApp-integrated conversion path will consistently underperform its Brazilian competitors, regardless of how well it ranks.

Our method
Market analysis
Before touching your site, we understand the market. Search behaviors, local trust signals, competitive landscape, and the gap between where you are and where you need to be. This analysis determines every decision that follows.
Architecture and content strategy
We define the right site structure for your situation, whether that means a subfolder, a dedicated ccTLD, or a subdomain, and we set up hreflang correctly from day one. We then build a content strategy designed for the target market, not translated from your existing content.
Execution and tracking
Content production, link acquisition in the target market, and monthly reporting on rankings, traffic, and conversions. You always know what is being done and why.
Why trust us
A Geneva-based agency with Swiss standards
Geneva is not just our address. It is the environment that shaped how we work. Operating in a city where French, German, English, and Italian coexist daily, where international organizations and multinational companies set the standard for precision and accountability, has directly influenced the way we approach international SEO. We apply the same rigor to your strategy that our clients expect from any Swiss-based partner: clear commitments, transparent reporting, and results that are measurable from day one.
International expertise built into our core
We have not added international SEO to our service offer because it became a trend. It is what we built Get SEO around from the start. We have 18 years of SEO experience and have worked with more than 75 clients across a wide range of sectors and markets. That experience gives us a practical understanding of what actually works when entering a new market, not just what the theory says should work.
Native-level knowledge across 11 languages
We work in French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Arabic. This is not a network of freelance translators we call when a client needs a foreign market. It is in-house expertise that allows us to understand how a local user thinks, what makes a website feel legitimate in that country, and what content will actually convert.
A strategy built around your specific market
Every market is different and every company enters it from a different position. We do not apply a standard international SEO template and adjust the language. We start from your situation, your target market, and your competitive landscape, and we build a strategy that reflects all three. A SaaS company entering Germany has different priorities than an e-commerce brand expanding into Brazil, and we treat them accordingly.
